WBJEE 2016- WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is a state level examination which is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). This exam is organised for admission in different undergraduate courses in engineering, medical, architecture and pharmacy at numerous private and government colleges/university across West Bengal. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is going to conduct WBJEE Exam 2016 May 17, 2016 for admission. For admission to any degree course in Engineering/Technology/architecture/pharmacy, securing a rank in the WBJEE 2016 is compulsory. Note that , self-financed institutions may also admit candidates on the basis of merit, listed in JEE Main 2016.

WB JEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates’ age must be at least 17 years counted on December 31, 2016 for Engineering / Technology . For Marine Engineering courses, candidate age must not be more than 25 years as on 31st July 2016.There is no upper age limit.
- Candidates must have domicile of West Bengal, who are seeking for admission to Government engineering/technology colleges, reserve category seats of any institution, including TFW (Tuition Waiver Rank) category seats.
- Candidates must be passed higher secondary/ intermediate or (10+2) examination.
- Candidates who are interested in getting admission at Jadhavpur University, must have passed 10+2 (intermediate) examination from state board or CBSE board and securing a minimum 60% marks. For reserved category candidates the minimum scored mark is 55% .
- Apart from Jadavpur university, if candidates want to get admission at any other institution, they must have secured minimum 45% marks (the mark is 40% for reserved category candidates).
- Candidates should not have any medical illness.
WBJEE 2016 Application Form/How to apply:
Application Form/ online registration of WBJEE 2016 will be available from January 5, 2016 to February 29, 2016. Candidates can apply online from the official website of WBJEE i.e. http://wbjeeb.nic.in/.
Here are complete procedures of applying for WBJEE 2016 exam:
- Now open registration page and fill all the details.
- After entering these details you’ll get a 7-digit application number. Must keep this 7 digit number for future use.
- GO to official website of WBJEE i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in in your browser.
- Now login to your account by using that application number.
- Now you need to pay WBJEE 2016 application fee of Rs. 500/- either through e-Post Office or using challan at your nearest Allahabad bank branch.
- Candidates are required to upload the following three images and document: Recent coloured Passport sized Photograph, Left Thumb Impression (LTI) , Own Signature and Admit card of 10th standard examination.
- Now, enter the fee payment information into your online application form.
- After this, you will get a link for downloading the confirmation page.
- Take a print out print out of the confirmation page for future reference.
- Next you need paste two similar passport size photograph among these two photographs, one should be self attested by you.
- Put your signature and thumb impression. Put your parent’s signature.
- Now attach the self-attested copies of required/associated documents and bank challan and send the same to the address given below:
