UPSC SCRA Exam Pattern 2013

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentices ) Examination 2013 for the recruitment of Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. This Examination will be conducted on 20th January 2013 at various centres across India.Candidates may be busy preparing for this exam,so in this post we are giving details about the  Exam Pattern of SCRA 2013.
Candidates have to undergo two stages of examinations before being selected for the Special Class Apprentice Post i.e, Written Exam Followed by Interview & Personality Test.

UPSC SCRA Exam Pattern 2013

** SCRA Examination shall be conducted in two parts comprising,
Part-I Examination- In this,candidates will be evaluated through Written examination of 600 Marks.
Scheme of Examination
*Total Marks :- 600
* Duration :- 2 hours per each paper
* Papers :- Question Paper will have questions from 3 papers where each paper carries 200 marks.
1.)Paper-I General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test)
2.) Paper-II-Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry)
3.) Paper-III-Mathematics
* Questions Format :- Objective / MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)
*Language :- Questions will be set in English only.
*Standard :- Questions will be of Intermediate Standard.
Part-II Examination :- Candidates qualified in Written Exam will have to face Interview/Personality Test of 200 Marks for being selected to the post.Questions shall be asked on the current affairs,interests and leadership qualities and character integrity will be judged.
